About the Role 

You will join a dedicated team as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to ensure safe and effective operation of state-of-the-art material handling systems. 

Real-time troubleshooting, system diagnostics, and scheduled and emergency maintenance will be the primary areas of your responsibility.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities

• Identify and repair electrical and mechanical problems on ATR units, conveyors, and motors.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Follow all lock-out/tag-out safety procedures. Troubleshoot system failures and clear conveyor system jams.
• Document maintenance activities and control spare parts through the CMMS.
• Assist and train junior technicians
• Provide recommendations on enhancing the reliability and efficiency of the system.

Qualifications You'll Need

• Electrical or electromechanical engineering with diploma or better Three years.
• Increased practical maintenance experience good ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical reports.
• Prior material handling system experience is a plus.
• Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and PLC/PC control knowledge Mandatory Competencies Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 
• Great team player possessing excellent communication skills Proactive, careful, and self-motivated mindset comfortable working in a dynamic, shift environment.
